Have you ever wanted to see your name in lights? See your face splashed across the pages of an international publication? While we can't exactly promise fame and fortune, we can put your name on the pages of TechSoup, where thousands of readers will see it every month. Here's your chance to share your expertise, inspirational stories, and experiences with organizations around the world.
We're looking for new writers to author stories that help nonprofits get the most out of technology. If you've got story ideas, know of nonprofits that are doing exceptional things with technology, or have other useful information that will help other nonprofits achieve their missions, drop us a line with your pitch.
Please do not submit completed articles! Instead, send us a description of your idea, how it relates to nonprofit technology, and whether you're willing to write the piece. (We welcome all ideas, even if you're not interested in writing.) Once you've submitted your proposal, one of TechSoup's editors will contact you. We're not able to use every submission, but should we select yours (and you're interested in writing), we'll help you develop the article for TechSoup's audience and edit it to conform to our site's style guidelines.
TechSoup currently publishes the following types of articles and information:
Learning Center: Articles delve into hardware, software, networking, technology planning, training, working with consultants, the Internet, Web building, funding, staffing, Open Source, computer security, and other topics -- all from a nonprofit perspective.
We welcome your proposals and suggestions for new content or new content categories, and we'll provide the editorial support you need to shape your ideas. Please send us your proposals and content ideas. (Content proposals should focus on issues relevant to nonprofits and technology.)
